Handmade Geometric Quilted Cushion - Lucienne Cushion

Collection 1 was inspired by the mid-century aesthetic of a mix of organic and geometric shapes and a simple palette. Mid-century design was all about the mixing of the old and new, and that is what we tried to do with a traditional craft such as quilting but using the more contemporary curved piecing. 
 
This cushion was specifically designed inspired by the work of the midcentury textile designer Lucienne Day, an inspiring talented woman who really made a path for textile designers in post-war Britain.

Back: Natural cotton
Batting: Premium cotton batting - 80% cotton 20% Polyester 
 
Pillow insert NOT included
20” x 20” pillow insert recommended
 
PROCESS
Machine pieced and quilted, then hand bound.
Handmade in the UK.
Each cushion is made to order just for you. Please allow 3 - 4 weeks for production.
